Steering Committee

Objectives

• Provide primary leadership and decision making for the CVRN
• Monitor progress of CVRN core projects and CVRN Committee activities
• Establish guidelines and policies that will facilitate multi-site collaboration within and outside the CVRN
• Oversee initiation and development of CVRN Special Interest Groups
• Review and approve proposals for new CVRN projects and manuscripts for publication
• Rapid review and approval of proposals for data analyses to address emerging CVD research issues
• Work with the NHLBI and External Collaborations and Advisory Committee to establish future research directions and priorities for the CVRN
