Objectives

• Coordinate the activities of the CVRN
• Directly promote the implementation and success of CVRN projects
• Support development of new project proposals and publication of CVRN study results

Data Standardization and Integration Core

Objectives

• Increase the quality and efficiency of CVRN research by providing data management support to investigators working on CVRN research projects
• Work together with project investigators to increase the CVRN data capacity through the addition of standardized CVD variables to the HMORN Virtual Data Warehouse
• Foster partnerships between network and non-network investigators interested in conducting collaborative research using CVRN data resources

Evaluation Core

Objectives

• Assess systematically the progress and productivity of the overall CVRN, its various components, and the individual projects
• Improve the effectiveness of the CVRN infrastructure components, research and collaboration between CVRN cores, project teams, and member sites
