Robert E. White, MD, MPH

Medical Director of Clinical Informatics at Lovelace Clinic Foundation and emeritus Professor of Medicine, University of New Mexico School of Medicine

Dr. White is a general internist with expertise in electronic medical record database development and analysis for research and quality improvement projects, and he uses those skills in collaboration with numerous investigators at the New Mexico VA Health Care System.

He also plays a significant role in community informatics projects as the Medical Director of the state's health information exchange (called New Mexico Health Information Collaborative or NMHIC), funded by AHRQ, HHS/ONC and state funds. Since 2006, Dr. White has also been a testing juror of electronic medical record software with the national Certifying Commission for Health Information Technology.
