HealthPartners Research Foundation (HPRF)
HPRF is a non-profit foundation that supports research and educational activities of HealthPartners in Minnesota. HealthPartners is an integrated health care system delivering care to >720,000 members in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. HPRF has 21 research scientists and 45 clinician/researchers; most have joint appointments at the University of Minnesota Medical School, School of Dentistry and School of Public Health. HPRF has >150 active projects encompassing preventive care, clinical care, health services, outcomes, guideline evaluation, epidemiology, and basic science. HPRF is actively involved in the NHLBI-funded Action to Control Cardiovascular Risk in Diabetes (ACCORD) Trial and AIM HIGH trial. HPRF is leading and participating in numerous federally-funded studies related to CVD risk factor modification, treatment of peripheral arterial disease, and improving CVD quality of care.
